Cranberg Residence

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLORADO

This property owner set out to create his own private oasis on nearly 10 acres of land near Denver, Colorado. His vision included lakes, streams, horse corrals, and lush vegetation.

ACI was contracted to design and build the water amenities, as well as provide construction management for all other disciplines involved with this large and complex project. The finished product includes three lakes connected by artificial streams and water features that continually re-circulate. The most visually stunning component of the project is a large waterfall which replicates a Roman aqueduct. The largest of the three lakes features a swimming beach and boat house built over the water. The bow of the “boat” is a hand carved tree trunk that also serves as a diving platform. A chipping green was added as part of the landscape so that the owner could practice his golf skills by hitting over the water to the green.
